Women Operators in PE Council

An invitation-only peer forum for women executives operating in - or preparing to step into - PE-backed leadership roles.

The Women Operators in PE Council is a confidential, practitioner-led community designed for women navigating the realities of private equity environments. This includes women currently leading inside PE-backed companies, as well as those actively preparing for a transition into these roles.

The Council meets monthly and provides a trusted space to connect with peers, share perspective, and work through the challenges and decisions that come with operating in PE - from job transitions and sponsor dynamics to leadership judgment and execution pressure.

What to Expect

Each session is structured as a working conversation:

• Brief introductions, including new members
• A facilitated discussion grounded in real situations participants are navigating
• Open time for attendees to bring challenges, questions, or opportunities for group input

Sessions are candid, practical, and peer-driven - no presentations, no posturing.

Susanna Madden, Founder of Thrive Resources, is present at each session to facilitate the conversation and offer perspective based on her work with PE firms and portfolio executives.

Membership & Access

Participation in the Women Operators in PE Council is available exclusively to members of the Thrive Resources PE Leadership Platform.

The Thrive Resources PE Leadership Platform is designed for senior leaders who want to:

• advance and operate more effectively as portfolio company executives

The platform includes curated resources on the PE landscape, leadership considerations, and career positioning, as well as live sessions and ongoing community access.

There is no cost to participate in the Women Operators in PE Council for members of the Thrive Leadership Platform.
Membership in the Thrive Leadership Platform is $97/month.
